Acknowledgement of Country
I respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land. I recognise the Wadawurrung and Dja-Dja Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation as the rightful Custodians of the land of which I live and work. I recognise and respect their continual connection to the land, waters, and the environment, both physically and spiritually. I pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Australia was wrongly founded on the genocide and dispossession of First Nations Peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded.
About the Artist
I'm an interdisciplinary artist based in Ballarat, on Wadawurrung land, Australia. I grew up in the country, in North East Victoria, on Dhudhuroa and Waywurru land, where my passion for art and the natural world really began. I moved to the city of Ballarat, on Wadawurrung and Dja-Dja Wurrung country, to pursue a university degree in fine art, which enabled me to develop my practice using a range of methods, materials, and advice. Not long after graduating from my art degree, my interest in nature became more than just an interest. I completed a BSc in environmental science, with hopes to continue onto further studies. Due to the global pandemic, I put my science studies on hold, and began to invest whole heartedly into my art career.
Motives
I create artworks that aim to spark interest in the natural world, and in the unique endemic Australian species that we are so lucky to have.

The Art
If you're searching for an artwork that correctly captures the characteristics and detail of Australia's native species, then you've come to the right place!
My art reflects my fascination and passion for botany, ecological relationships, as well as the intriguing life of arthropods, insects and arachnids. My works include delicate pencil illustrations and traditional handmade prints that look beautiful in your home, office or business space, or as a unique gift to a loved one or collogue. I work with my individual style and techniques to capture subjects in both a scientific and artistic light. I source my own reference images through exploring natural environments, as well as work with clients and nature photographers for reference of specific or rare species.
To help conserve the species that inspire my art, I contribute 5% of each lino print purchase to the The Australian Entomological Society.

Products and Services
Quality comes first every step of the way. I utilise professional art materials to ensure my works are long lasting and of a high standard. My illustrations are drawn on paper made with fabric fibers for a strong durable surface, and are drawn with professional grade coloured pencils, to ensure artworks are vibrant and rich in colour. My prints are printed on a range of quality papers that best suits each individual design, and I utilise non-toxic water based inks to minimise my impact on the environment.
Frames are professionally made by local business, and are of very high standard.
